Lots.

At age 6 I misheard many lyrics in the Peter, Paul and Mary song "It's Raining" which led to my giving a wrong answer in "Go to the Head of the Class" (I'm really, really dating myself here.

Among other things, I thought the female singer sang "I'll be a millionaire's wife", rather than "I'll be a fiddler's wife".

As a young man, I misheard the lyrics to Bananarama's "Venus". I decline to elaborate further.

I'm listening to Blank Space as we speak. I love that Taylor Swift has a long list Starbucks lovers. :-)

Honestly, I never heard song lyrics very well, even (or especially) when I was young. I remember in high school hearing AC/DC singing something about a "Thunder Chief", although I didn't even know it was AC/DC.

Of course who can forget Kenny Rogers' 400 children?

Karaoke has helped greatly in resolving these, except sometimes there are even differences in lyrics from one karaoke version to the next, which doesn't help.

"There's a bathroom on the right."  (CCR - There's a bad moon on the rise.)

"Keep it common law."  (KC & the Sunshine Band - Keep it comin' love.)

"Love is a fantasy."  (Pat Benatar - Love is a battlefield.)

Some people understand Hold on! instead of Oh Lord! when listening to Phil Collin's In the air tonight[/i]. But even I can't understand why.

The F.B.I. spent several months investigating "Louie Louie" by the Kingsmen looking for hidden smut.

Did they hit pay dirt?
I'm one of them. Also, I used to think John Stewart's foreboding 1979 hit "Midnight Wind" went:

There are dreams that fly in the midnight wind /
Soap suds fly in the midnight wind /
Birds do fly in the midnight wind

I must have thought a lot of different stuff "flew" in that midnight wind.
