For once, I think the shocking thing here is not the inaccuracy but rather the rawness of the truth. While I don't think his characterisation accurately describes Trump supporters per se, but they are genuinely characteristic of certain political groupings, particularly some of those mainly found online. The idea of a pundit actually using the phrase "childless single men who masturbate to Anime" is more significant than whether or not he applied it to the right group. I suspect it is relatively applicable to the types found on /pol/ (although I've never actually been on /pol/, nor do I plan to anytime soon), and I slightly worry it is applicable to some here.

I imagine the vast majority of people in that demographic are apolitical or vaguely liberal (of the r/atheism variety, I would surmise).  It strikes me as odd that this GOP strategist would be so familiar with such a tiny subculture....

It's both humorous and intellectually interesting.
I did not know what "alt-right" meant either, until I read the referenced link ... thank you.

But on the serious side .... you have to ask yourself why this strange sub-group would be attracted to Trump's candidacy.
Somewhat strange, but more importantly, scary.
It seems the word "bigotry" and Trump, are synonymous in the eyes of the alt-right.
