Voted rest of Minnesota.  I like the Twin Cities too, but I love northern MN, especially Duluth and the Lake Superior shoreline.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Minnesota; it's my dream to move there ASAP. sh**t I don't know what I'd choose...

Live in the Cities but have a lake house in some small, rural town to escape to on the weekends.

50.01% Twin Cities
49.99% Rest of Minnesota

That's "the good life" in Minnesota... home in the Twin Cities.. cabin "up north".

I was the reverse of that... grew up on a resort in northern MN... headed "down to the Cities" for pretty much anything you couldn't get in a small town.

Spent early childhood summers at Lake Wabedo...in a cabin...by the lake.

Voted rest of, but they are both acceptable answers.

By the way... the proper term for Minnesota outside of the Twin Cities is "Out-state Minnesota"

I'm so jealous. Our family vacation spot is Alexandria. Someday I'll be a resident!

I've been watching the 1990 governor's debate (I would recommend it, BTW) and they keep referring to it as "Greater Minnesota", even a state agency was called the Greater Minnesota Corporation.

Never been to Minnesota, but everyone I know who lives in the Twin Cities or has been there loves it, so I voted Twin Cities.

Out-state?  I see.

Well that's what I voted for, something about the Lake of the Woods has always fascinated me, not sure what about it nor why.
