Against my better judgment, I went through approval ratings from the 2014 midterm and combined them with the 2012 election results.  I also expanded the battleground range to within 5 points of center.  Here is the map I came up with.

I know it was against my better judgment but ME wasn't too favorable in the last midterm for Obama around 55-45 disapproval. NY was around the same but I know better.
