This just happened a few days ago; it's gotten a lot of media attention. It seems like something targeted at getting a national spotlight. Does this guy strike you as someone who could run for President in, say, 2020?

I doubt it, he supports Tort reform, to 250 K, and he got a multi million dollar settlement from an insurance company.  I wouldnt support him.

FF, for the same reason Wink

In all seriousness, if he can manage to rally the Tea Party folks without alienating establishmentarians like Cruz and Trump have, he would be very formidable.

Dubya will be the last conservative elected prez from TX. Abbott and Perry seem partisan towards Dems and not willing to work on amnesty or immigration reform to secure boarder.
