2012 Romney Electorate Breakdown, by State and Race

Earlier this year, I unveiled my 2012 Obama Electorate Breakdown by State and Race map, which showed, among other things, the following:

• Obama's 2012 coalition was 55% white, 24% black, 14% latino and 7% other
• Whites comprised a plurality or majority of the coalition in 42 states
• Blacks comprised a plurality or majority of the coalition in 6 states + D.C.
• Latinos comprised a plurality or majority of the coalition in 2 states
• Asians nearly were the plurality in HI; whites, blacks and latinos were effectively tied in TX

Somebody asked to see a Romney equivalent at the time, which I thought a bit silly. However, I decided today to go ahead and make the Romney version as well.

No way 7% of WA Romney voters were Hispanics.  Our Hispanics turn out at exceptionally low rates, so this might explain the discrepancy here if you're basing it off of national turnout levels or something.

I'm going off of 2012 exit polling for Washington. Ten percent of the electorate, assuming 28% for Romney = 2.8/41.03 = 6.82%.
