It's less than a year out, what does you gut say about Ohio? Basically all polls have the candidates polling under 45%, giving an unclear picture about what will happen there.

Trump vs Clinton: Clinton (OH wouldn't matter anyway)
Rubio vs Clinton: Rubio

Absurd. Rubio would depress conservative turnout, and wouldn't attract independents and non-voters like Trump. Rubio's polling well but so was Romney in late 2011. If it's establishment left vs establishment right the left will win because that's the way the country's trending. Trump shakes things up, no one else can.

Clinton wins Ohio. Trump makes it closer with working class whites.

Clinton doesnt need OH, can win without it, I think Trump wins it for now. SHE can win either CO or Va, and I am sticking  that.

Surprised at all the Clinton votes. OH seems like a perfect state for Trump.

Given that Trump has won the nomination in this scenario, I'd give him a >50% shot at taking Ohio, which should be a pretty strong state for him relative to your generic Republican.

Clinton will win OH but it will be 3 points to the right of the nation. I think FL would be a much better state for Clinton than OH b/c Trump will do awful with Latinos.

In a two-way race, Trump would beat Clinton but lose narrowly to Sanders. Clinton and Sanders would both win against Cruz, Rubio, or any of the Low-Energy Losers.

In a three-way race, Clinton would be favored because probably 20-30% of the Republicans would back the official party nominee, allowing her to win with a plurality.

I think the Democrats have a slightly greater chance of holding on to Florida than Ohio in a Trump vs Clinton election.

Clinton wins narrowly 272-266, doesnt need Ohio, if it is Jeb or Trump. If it is Cruz or Christie, she wins Ohio.

Its clear that Ohio may lose its bellweather status at some point to Colorado or Va. But, regardless Clinton is narrowly favored in 2016.

Why have an election as guaranteed by the constitution if you guys are going to decide now?  So stupid! Yes, I refuse to vote until election day.

I don't think I got the memo that led a lot of people from Atlas to believe Trump has a genuine chance at swing states like Ohio and Virginia.

How are the polls going to look after the conventions? When the general election campaign begins? In October? General election polling is useless 11 months out.

Yes I know there's only one poll that matters and that's Election Day which was my point. Democrats are obsessed with poll numbers and data though and by bringing it up I was mocking whoever said he doesn't have a chance.  Regardless ask Mondale and Dukakis how their 17 point leads worked for them!

I tried calling, but I only got Kasich's answering machine.  I guess he's out in New Hampshire campaigning or something.  Sad

Damn, people would have been incredulous if you told them Trump would win by 8 the following November.
