Marine Le Pen, leader of France’s far-right National Front party, pushed back after Donald Trump compared her recent political success to his own, the New York Times reports.

Said Le Pen: “Seriously, have you ever heard me say something like that? I defend all the French people in France, regardless of their origin, regardless of their religion.”

Oh, please let this make her win too! She'd be too hilarious as President - maybe even funnier than Trump because she lacks any skill!

She says this, but when is her Super PAC going to start running negative ads against Trump?

I wouldn't say no skill; she's increased the FN's support from ~10% to ~30% and right now is probably the 2nd or 3rd most likely person to be the next President of France.

Maybe not no skill, but that's certainly not her own doing. All the far right parties in Continental Europe are rising, and Hollande is just terrible forcing people to make a choice between staying home and stopping Le Pen by voting centre right. If our final election was Bush (as proxy for old guy returning) vs. Trump, I don't think it'd be close. Rubio might make it a bit close because demographics, but Trump might take that.

Wilders (Dutch version of Le Pen/Trump) basically endorsed Trump https://twitter.com/geertwilderspvv/status/673991276291825665.
Wilders is destroying the polls here btw, he is at like 25% while the second party is at about 13/14% (Dutch politics are highly fragmented). Not that he ever will be PM, most of the parties will never work with him in a coalition, especially not with him as the PM.
