How would Trump be, as a presidential candidate, without the obvious bigotry?

I know that's where a lot of his strength comes from, but he still has a very candid style that people like, is still a good media personality, and still has other populist views.

Without the bigotry, the establishment would probably see him as acceptable (even if Trump wouldn't want their public endorsement).

What would it be like?

Without his, uh, hardline position on immigration, Trump would be nothing.  It was his ability to take a strongly conservative stance on an issue where Republican voters leaned well to the right of the party establishment that allowed him to take off in the first place.

In fairness though (even if it's a damn fine line) he could still be as hardline about building the wall and stuff but just cut the parts about "...because they're bringing crime; they're rapists." The insanely hardcore immigration plan isn't itself bigoted and so he could still be by far the most out there candidate on the issue and pick up a similarly solid segment of people for whom that is the, or close to the, number one issue.

I don't know where he would be in the polls, but he could run or focus on the positive things in his campaign: He's self funding, moderate on healthcare and social security and wants to normalize relations with Russia.
