So as most people know, I am Muslim AND a Republican. According to Trump he would stop all Muslims from coming to this country and close down "some" masjids in the name of defence. So if I were to leave the country to go visit relatives would I be allowed back? Or would I be prevented from coming back because of my faith?

Some in his campaign believe we truly can't be Americans, do you agree with those sentiments? Am I a pseudo-American because of my background?

Also give me a reason as to why I should vote for Trump?

Yes you would be allowed back.

You should be proud to be a pseudo-American like I am. Hyphenation is far preferable than being either an WASPY snob or white trash like Bobby Jindal's children have become.

Trump loves the Muslims. He just posted it on Facebook. He is just trying his best to protect you. The most liked comment was by a Muslim (oh, GOP! you never fail to make me laugh at your forced racial love)

Trump already recanted on the not allowing Muslim-Americans back into the US. Even if he didn't, there's no way that would stand.

It's pretty obvious that the vast majority of Trump fans HATE Muslims I mean HATE all you have to do is go on Pro-Trump groups and even his page himself, they just like the Muslims who are self-hating...

I can somewhat relate

I'm an (Asian) Indian-American Republican. I side with the GOP on the majority of the issues, but I feel like I'm voting against my own interests because of all the racist/xenophobic idiots

I've been confused for Mexican/Arab before too (like most people of Indian descent)

Yanni S------- Donald Trump is not anti Muslim. He is anti ISIS. What Trump is trying to say is that Homeland Security can not differentiate which muslim is radical wanting to cause harm and which is a harmless refugee. This is why nothing gets done. who is willing to sacrifice their family's safety? Are you?

Self-hating.

How do you know this person is Muslim? How do you know the thoughts of people? I had a giant crowd of Trump people protesting in front of my masjid on Friday demanding we either convert, leave the country or "turn ourselves in"

Also I don't know any Muslim with a Hebrew name....nice try though

Dangit, wrong one...either he has a new Update or it got outliked since I last checked. I'll look when I'm off mobile...it was one of those "I am a Muslim and this is not anti-Muslim" things. Poor trolling on my part. Really shameful.

edit: upon further inspection there are like 4 different people who posted that same exact comment, same words, so maybe I didn't have the wrong comment, but it's a different post. There's an Indian and a Hispanic guy posting below that, but I can't find the Arab one. That might make it tough to find, but whatever I'm over it.

Exactly, it's trolling.

But seriousness, if Trump wants a serious policy regarding Da'esh, why doesn't he come to US and ask what we believe is the best solution? Alienating Muslims isn't going to help counter extremism...just saying.

Closing down some masques is a mainstream position that is endorsed by the Prime Minister of Great Britain. While Trump's muslim immigration line is more extreme than other GOPers, he's not alone on that bigotry. Jeb Bush said we should only in refugees if they're christian. Some do not want Syrian refugees all together, all because of their religion. And that's where a large chunk of muslim immigration will be coming from.

And you are dedicated to the ideology of libertarianism. Trump almost certainly will do nothing for you on that front, so you don't really have a reason to support Trump.

Because you should not believe anything he says. Trump has never given the indication he believes any of this hateful rhetoric. The real trump will have a better foreign policy for Muslims.

Trump is more sensible and trustworthy than Cruz.

>Don't believe the hateful things Trump is saying about your people, he's just lying to win votes
>Trump is trustworthy

I love the "Don't worry about the crazy stuff Trump says, he doesn't mean it" crowd. If you openly believe that his policies are lies and boasts, what the hell do you think his real policies are? Who's to say you're not one the morons you claim he's pandering to?

Oh, and Hillary Clinton is the "inauthentic" one.

Good grief, man, just give it up and be a libertarian. The GOP isn't for people like you - haven't you noticed how Rand is doing in the polls?

It must be fun being part of a party where your fellow members see you as some icky brown person who hates Dear Lord Baby Jesus and who's probably going to try to blow them up. Go to your county GOP meeting and tell them all you're a Muslim - see how well that goes.

FTR I'm of Arab ancestry and from a mainline Protestant/Eastern Orthodox family and stopped affiliating with the fundie racist freak show that is the Republican Party almost four years ago.

FTR they do know I am a Muslim and have absolutely no problem with it so cry me a river you just show your hatred makes you no better than people who are against you, and I could care less about your ethnicity and I am a libertarian but the LP is not my party so no thanks.

You shouldn't vote for Trump.  People should vote for their interest.  If people share the same concern as Trump, then vote for Trump.  If they share concern about global warming, then vote for Sanders.

But to me, it is all depend.  If I have intel that you sneaking into Syria, then I don't want you back in.  I saw couple of brits responding to Pier Morgan saying that they rather capture the terrorists and tried them (this as in allowing those that sneak into Syria to come back to the uk).  I lol to that.

I need to watch more Trump, because that statement of his is still very unclear to me.  Especially when applied to specifics.  Either way, at the very basic, we should really address the anti west, anti American sentiment within the global Muslim population.  (And if I am a muslims, I would like to discuss the anti Islamism among the west).

A president Clinton would almost assuredly do more to expand the powers of the federal government than a president Trump. Thus, as a libertarian, your choice is clear.

Oh, come on! Don't tell me you believe that a businessman from New York would enact any of those policies. You and I both know he will govern from the center/center-left.

His foreign policy will be restrained and measured, which is pretty similar to a Libertarian position and he will not be a controlling maniac like Clinton.

This is enough for you to vote for him.

What about a former Hollywood union boss running for President as a Republican? How left wing would they be?

Well let's see...he did sign an amnesty bill, Roe v. Wade is still intact, deficit spending spending...

And no war.  So more left-wing than LBJ.

I have another question for Trump supporters.

Donald Trump claims (because he probably doesn't believe it anyway) that he wants to ban all Muslims from entering the United States. Constitutional, human rights, and ethical issues aside, why is this supposedly even necessary?

For instance, you do realize that both al-Qaeda and the Islamic State are Sunni terrorist groups who probably killed more Shia Muslims in the last 15 years than Americans or Europeans combined? So why does Trump's call on a ban for Muslim immigration include Shia as well? Is it because the retards who make up Donald Trump's base usually lack the mental capacity to comprehend the difference between a Sunni and a Shia?

Its clear the Republican Party is full of xenophobic idiots who are fearful of Muslims, not radical Islam, Muslims. I hate to say this, but you should become an independent. That doesn't mean not voting for Republican candidates or changing ideology, just don't associate yourself with these people. I gave up on them a long time ago.

Shi'a=Iran=Destroy Israel-->Jesus lived there.

And you know the reason. Americans don't know the difference, and they don't care to learn. Even getting past that distinction, do you think they care to know who the Kurds are, even when the media portrays them as the good guys? Even that is all the same

Easy. Turn to the light side. There is such a thing as left-libertarianism.

Infact, I think the entire fiscally conservative fraction of the GOP should consider creating a new "Blue Dog" wing of the democratic party and leave the GOP to the crazy bible thumping, racist, homophobic socons who have infiltrated the party.

Alternatively, divide the GOP into two parties. This would probably mean giving up on presidential elections for a while, but a new fiscally conservative GOP could still have a strong congressional representation.
