This is a horrible idea, and frankly, there shouldn't be any talk about overturning Obergefell.

Wulfric's derangement on this topic is well documented and disgusting.

Rubio should make this the centerpiece of his campaign.

Rubio continues to prove why the notion of his emergence as anything remotely resembling a sensible establishment pick is ludicrous and absurd. I cannot see how anyone openly seeking to overturn the gay marriage ruling will be elected in 2016 America and if Hillary has any sense she will hammer this home during the general election.

I could see a slight chance that a very conservative court may try to overturn Roe v. Wade, but there's no way gay marriage gets overturned in our generation. Its approval rating will continue to surge and there will not be enough justices willing to buck the national support and legal precedent to overturn in the reactionary direction.

We should never have gone back and overturned the 18th Amendment. Progress only moves forward!

Yep, welcome to pander-palooza. Anything to keep the fascists on his right from getting in. I'm sure he'll bow to reality once he actually takes office - any smart candidate knows that this is the last election where this is going to be a genuine issue.

Outlawing contraception, abortion, or same-sex marriage would now require a Constitutional amendment. Such would require

(1) 2/3 of the House

(2) 2/3 of the Senate, and

(3) 3/4 of all state legislatures.

For good reason such is very difficult, something possible only when the time is right.

Truly a moderate in touch with today's youth!
Since when does Objective truth have anything to do with popular opinion?

The problem is that Rubio is viewed as an electable moderate for holding these worldviews held by a fringe of the population, and Trump is lambasted as a crazy nutjob for saying what almost everyone in America is thinking.

I'm sure this will play well at places like the suburbs of Philadelphia, Denver and Miami.

You missed my point. The fact is their is no such thing as "same sex marriage" because it goes against natural law. Regardless if everyone on the planet says otherwise does not change that. That's want I mean by objective truth what people  think does not matter.

I've never met anyone has cited "Natural Law" who wasn't a complete choad. I wonder if you'll be different.....

I guess natural law is what you consider natural. I consider homo sex and marriage perfectly natural, so I submit that US law has finally got in sync with natural law. Thank you.

If you want to play this game, then convince us that marriage doesn't go against The Natural Law (TM).

I could play this game. However I think if I expressed what I feel I would be banned.
not that I honestly care. Lets say their is a reason same sex couples cant reproduce.

K. What does that have to do with marriage? And what does marriage have to do with natural law?

The Tea Party has not been defeated, but merely absorbed into the Republican mainstream. People considered right wing Tea Party nuts as recently as 2010 like Rubio, are now 'moderates'.
