Jeb Bush's Super PAC, Right to Rise, is planning a massive buy, which now includes a 15 minute Documentary on Bush that will air on the New England Sports Network, which means New Hampshire will be receiving it.

An odd previous figure who did something sort of similar was Jerry Brown, who attempted to create a film of one of his own speeches, add special effects, and get Francis Ford Coppola to direct it. Needless to say, it was a disaster. Probably won't end up that bad, though.

Hoping it has the production values to match "Pawlenty the movie trailer":

Alternatively, maybe they can take Mike Gravel's "Rock" ad to the next level, and have Bush stare at the camera for 15 minutes.

I know that the site doesn't allow you to post links as a newbie. If I recall correctly, you need at least 15 posts to post links. I really want to watch this Jeb documentary, but I can't find it. Can you please post random stuff on this thread 13 more times (or how ever many more posts you need to post links) and post the link to the documentary? Thanks!

Too late. He's a terrible retail politician. Also worth noting Brown did horribly in '80.

That's why I made the comparison.

Finishing this thing: Voters have told pollsters that they are tired of hearing about people's records, and want to hear about people's plans. I definitely heard the words "VETO CORLEONE" in this thing.

Definitive failure.

The thing is, Bush has actually put forth plans in detail. The problem is, on the stump, he says "I have a plan" but then doesn't talk about his plan. You are right, voters want to hear about what someone stands for in addition, or sometimes instead of, their record. Bush's Florida record is good, but he still supports Common Core and that will be tough for him to overcome in the eyes of some conservatives. Personally, my issue with Jeb Bush is that if he is a poor communicator during the primaries, can he actually win the general election? I also don't like the fact that he supports Common Core and the fact that he supports the Dream Act, though I don't object to most of his immigration policies.

Didn't Obama also do this, though?

Last infomercial like that I saw was Cotton's last year, but he was in a Safe R race by that point. Before that, King of Bain.

Why didn't he do such a thing earlier? He needs to introduce himself to people, to establish his own core identity and not be perceived as someone's negative impression of he must be. He has to tell the voters that he has as much right to be President, not because he is a Bush, but because of the type of man he is, on his own. He has to reinvent himself,  like his father did, and got rid of the "wimp factor" in to the bargain.  If the infomercial works in New Hampshire, Jeb can show case it nationwide.  I know Trump won't be happy with this development.

Obama's story is far more compelling and interesting, and Democrats weren't blinded by rage in 2008.

Will he take a page from Jerry Brown 1992, and include a toll free number to call?
