Yes. He's a lawyer, he's intelligent. He can deliver the Latino vote, and he can solidify California, etc.

He'd probably be a better VP pick than the MUH SWING STATE picks, just because he seems like he actually knows things.

Perez may not add any states to the Clinton ticket, but he could help with union workers and progressives. I'm watching him now on Al Jazeera TV, and he seems like a person that can debate well in a vice presidential debate.

I think he would be good. He speaks Spanish, unlike the Castro brothers I believe. Also, I've never seen it been written, but Perez is a less polarizing name than Castro, thanks to Fidel.

I've mentioned him.

If there are vetting issues with Castro, Perez can be a plausible alternative. As a Cabinet member, he has a solid resume. He has also been in the Attorney General's office, so he can be a policy expert in multiple fields. He seems to have a progressive background, which should please the base, but there isn't much to terrify the center.
