Rank the Republican candidates from the best to the worst chances in the general election (against Hillary).

My order:

- Christie (~ 40-45%)
- Bush (40-45%)
- Cruz (~ 40%)
- Kasich (~ 40%)
- Carson (~ 40 %)
- Fiorina (~ 37-40 %)
- Trump (~ 35%)
- Paul (~ 30-35%)
- Satorum (~ 30%)
- Huckabee (~ 30-35%)
- Pataki (~ 25-30 %)
- Graham (~ 25-30 %)
- Gilmore (~ 25-30 %)

Yours is about spot on with mine, minus the fact Paul could have a much stronger coalition than many of the candidates above him if he actually tried in his campaign and didn't tank his favorables.

I think his stances on immigration would hurt him with very conservative voters.

They would all beat Hillary, but Rubio will win, if nominated, in an Obama '08-style landslide (the closest states will be New Mexico, Oregon, Illinois, and New Jersey).

Trump is at 20-25%
Cruz is at around 15%
Rubio I'd say is closer to 30%
Christie is probably the most electable at 35%

And the rest don't even deserve consideration. Oh wait,

Jeb Bush at 0%
Carly Fiorina at 0%
Ben Carson in the negatives

Bush, Carson and Santorum least electable, Christie and Trump the most.

I'm a Christie hack, but I'm kinda iffy ranking him over Rubio.

Also Carson would make Hillary look terrible in the debates thanks to his calm demeanor imo, but I could hear both sides of his case all day long.

Absolutely. They'd get Romney's supporters to start with, Trump would not.
