Two *good* choices from major party candidates. Geez, not many. 1796 and 1800 have Adams and Jefferson (both good; TJ's better); 1860 had Lincoln, Douglas, and Bell who were all okay but not great; then there's 1884-1892, Cleveland and his opponents were pretty good. Latest with even two okay candidates would be 1948 (Truman and Dewey). After that, there's only one or sometimes none who is good.
