The very first one on the list shows how wrong they are about Carson.  Carson never said he applied for West Point.

He raised $3.5 Million dollars in JUST THIS WEEK because of this. He's surging to mid 30s by the end of the week.

No. In fact, I think he'll remain steady. These little scandals will have no impact unlike what most people think.

And what is he going to spend it on? That is the 3.5 million dollar question....

If his burn rate is anything to go by, it's probably going to be all spent to raise even more money.

Fascinating, I didn't know that story.

Again, my theory is either he drops out or reaches a new peak. Anything in between is lol.

I think this stuff will have a net neutral effect on the base, but probably hurt him with some of those weird GE match-ups

It has to be shown that he lied for any of this to have any effect (like in Hillary's case when she kept chaging her story). Otherwise, it will be interpreted as bias by his supporters and ignored by neutrals. It will strengthen his support with the base and have no effect on the moderates.

This may actually have a negative effect on Hillary's chances, as it will reinforce the predominant idea in the left circles that Carson is flawed/done for.

There was a thread awhile back that was something like"bold predictions", and one of my predictions was that Carson would be out by the new year. I'll stick with that for now, but knowing how much some people love candidates spewing idiotic statements, he'll probably still be in it.

Bringing this back. There probably wont be any new national polls (counted by RCP) in the next couple of days. His current average is 13.2. It was 24.8 at the beginning of November when this thread was created. In five weeks Carson went from 1st to 4th place and dropping, but he is still in the race.

It seems the double-wammy of the questions about his past combined with doubts about his foreign policy/national security acumen was enough to knock him down, but he is not out of it yet. He will still be center stage right next to Trump at this week's debate and you never know, maybe he will bounce back.
