Congressman Marion Berry from Arkansas is not that drug addict councilman from DC and neither is he in any way related to him.  He's a respectable southern Democrat.

It should also be noted that Congressman Vic Snyder, who voted against the war in iraq, still, despite political pressure, voted for the $87 Billion.  It's a principled stand, one that Kerry and Edwards should have taken.

Congressman Mike Ross made a good speech in the House the other day regarding the budgetery crisis ahead.  He is a member of the blue dog democrats, a group that believes in fiscal responsibility.  The group pointed out how the sovereignty of this nation is threatened by growing national debt as China continues to pay for our spending, and in the near future, the debt will grow so large that it will take every single dollar of tax revenue just to pay interest payments.

I understand it's not the same Marion Berry. I just got a kick out of it Smiley

Until the action moves more to the West, 97% of my votes on this are uninformed.  Typical voter, I guess Smiley
