I was wondering about this last night.

Did ol' Ronnie win the city of Cincinnati in 1984? What about 1980? I'm talking about the actual city, not the suburbs.

I was watching the local news on election night in 1988, and they said Dukakis won the city, but I got the impression it was a very narrow margin.

Cincinnati is always mentioned as one of the most Republican big cities.  I'd be shocked if Reagan didn't carry it in both, but especially 1984.
