Liberals knock off John Williamson (Con) in New Brunswick Southwest. 3 uncalled ridings left in Atlantic Canada, Liberals leading all 3: Fundy Royal against Con, St. John's East against NDP, Tobique against Con.

I largely am ignorant of Canadian politics even though I read the election thread daily, so that probably explains my surprise at the Liberal wave. None the less, Megan Leslie going down was YUGE, at least to me.

If Jack Harris goes down that'd be YUGE.

Yes, only Rachel Notley, progressive queen of Canada, can save us from the tyranny that is Trudeau.

Liberals gain Tobique from the Conservatives. Two uncalled ridings left in Atlantic Canada: Fundy Royal against the Cons in New Brunswick, and St. John's East against the NDP in Newfoundland.

First Quebec results in Gaspesie - Les Iles-de-la-Madeleine, Liberals ahead.

40 out of 214 in.  LPC ahead with 40% of the vote vs 28.4% for NDP.  Very bad sign for NDP.

Three things:

1.
. . .the Liberals are leading in every seat.  That won't hold. . .
Obviously, I don't know what I'm talking about.

2.  Since I didn't know much about Canadian politics, I went to 308.com's website yesterday and created a list of the seats each party needed to get to 175 seats.  For the Liberals, they needed 27 in Atlantic Canada. . .and they're exceeding that.  If Atlantic Canada is a bellwether, then the Liberals are on their way to a majority.

3.  Does the CBC really need to keep telling me that the Royals are losing?

Hurray! The question isn't who's going to win, but by how much.

No word on whether it will be a majority or minority government though.

Lol. I don't want a Liberal majority but it would be extremely funny if Rachel Bendayan could win Outremont from Mulcair.

Anyway, exit Tories. Very undeserved. But I guess people want a change just to get a change.
