Usually my dreams are in two halves, and the first one had nothing to do with politics and focused on me exploring a community college that was as tall as a skyscraper.

The second half of the dream included a 2016 race between Al Gore and John E. "Jeb" Bush. At one point I saw a recap of the democrat primary showing that Al Gore came in as an establishment hero after Clinton's collapse. O'Malley managed to get second place, with Sanders getting lots of support but withdrawing in spring.

Most of the dream wasn't about the election, but about me trying to vote. The polls closed at 7PM and I woke up just before 6:30 PM. It was dramatic trying to get there as the church I went to for some reason decided to invest in a bowling ally and pizza place for the kids and the parking lot was crowded. I could see high school seniors, an African American woman in particular, voting for the first time on a large television like machine mounted on the wall. I also remember fretting over if I would vote downballot because I didn't do my research on who was running against Rep. Joyce. In the end, I believe I failed to get there on time to vote.

That didn't really mean much however, in a car ride with my dad it was revealed that Gore was pretty much a shoe in to win the election. Very successful in the south, he won Arkansas, North Carolina, Georgia, and possibly even MS. I had some paranoia that Gore would lose because Democrats stayed home being secure in knowing they would win but I doubt that was the case. Bush ran a boring an uninspired campaign and was the surefire loser by September.

At one point I had an argument with the "pastor" at the "church" about me being too late to vote. The "pastor" was dressed in a green business suit and looked like a stereotypical boss with a big stomach and a cigar. He gave exactly zero f**ks about my whining and had his goons force me out of the building and intimidate me physically. I could see a snack bar inside the building.

Here's what a map of the election might have looked like. Even though I only knew of the results from North Carolina and Arkansas, I also know that Gore won with 39X EVs:

✓ Fmr. Vice President Al Gore (D-TN) 393 EV

Fmr. Gov John E. "Jeb" Bush (R-FL) 145 EV

Forgetting to vote is a dream (or rather a nightmare) I have had multiple times.

Genuine dream I had last night. An election debate (UK) was being held in one of my lecture halls, but all the party leaders were completely generic (the Labour leader, for one, changed from female to male mid debate) and there was a celebrity independent candidate who ran a cooking show in the universe of my dream. There were two main issues being discussed: the potential for the UK to sue the NH politician Cheis sununu over remarks he made earlier (the crowd at this point starting booing the Tory quite dramatically at this point, and the substance of the remarks were left out) AND arguments between the debaters about how many Made in Britain appliances they had (the now male Labour candidate literally got out an electric kettle and emphasised the Made in Britain label.

And I've found them:

I once had a dream where I got a back and shoulder rub from Nikki Haley.

Got another back rub from Nikki Haley.  Also for some reason Aaron Schock was marrying Joe Biden in the dream.

I actually had a very recent dream (I think two days ago) where the 2012 election between Romney and Obama was global, and I saw the results. Obama won Africa, Latin America, and Europe. Romney won North America and Oceania.

It was pretty wack.

I had a dream that the modern state boundaries of New Hampshire, Maine, and New York only came into effect for the 2004 election.

The area that is now part of upstate New York (northeastern area bordering Vermont) was the most heavily conservative state in the country. It had a name that started with a B and included the letter i, Blaid or something, or Blaide. A much larger state that would later be reduced to New Hampshire was known as the state of Manchester. I remember it clearly being more than twice the size of Vermont, and it even included part of was it now northwestern Massachusetts. The remainder was northern Maine and I don't remember what it's name was other than it wasn't Maine.

Yes. I had a dream a couple of weeks before the 2012 election that this would be the final map:

Well, there is this one where's it's election day. I go to my precinct to vote, and Katy Perry is dressed as a voting booth--and it's a very long ballot.

Yes, Rubio vs. Clinton. It was supposed to be close/slight Clinton advantage, but then Rubio won in a landslide. All I know is that Clinton carried PA 56-44 or so.

This was the map, IIRC:

I fell asleep during CNN's election night coverage (the last thing I remember is the PA call for Clinton) and all I know is that this site had totally crashed on election night. It looked like the 2002 version when I logged in the morning after the election LOL.

Jesus H. Christ, did Hillary Clinton promise to sell the Midwest to ISIS or something?

I am well known on this forum for my almost terrifyingly accurate predictive political dreams.

I just had a dream about election night and the electoral college a few days ago. I've forgotten most of it by now, but I think I remember Obama winning Indiana.

Do you think the map for such a dream election would look like this?

✓ Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) / Fmr. Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) 408 EV

President Barack Obama (D-IL) / Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE) 129 EV

Fmr. Sen. Mike Gravel (I-AK) / Sen. Angus King (I-ME) 1 EV

I dreamt that Trump, Carson, and Rubio were the final three and Carson dropped out to take Trump's VP spot to stop the rise of Rubio.

Mitt Romney appeared in a dream about two nights ago. I made friends with him, and he was so nice I felt guilty that I voted for Obama in the election.

I had a dream about David Vitter immediately after he lost the election. Thanks Atlas!
