That was kind of strange and uncalled for, considering that the girl had an actual question, but I can't really tell if it was intended to be sexist. It sounded like more "GET OFF MY LAWN, KIDS" than overt sexism. Kasich is just getting warmed up for that here, which is what he should be doing as it does take some practice to get right.
