Clinton (D)- 45%
Jindal (R) - 42%

Bush - 56%
Clinton - 38%

Trump - 47%
Clinton - 39%

Jindal's approval is 34/62. Obama is at 40/59 - basically the same margin he lost the state by.

It's sad when you lose your own state in a poll like this. He doesn't even have the same situation as Romney where partisanship is so strong.

The favorite son effect seems to be quite weak this cycle, not just in Louisiana but elsewhere as well.

The Favorite Son effect does not work with any pol that the state's voters have sickened of. Think of Walker in Wisconsin and Santorum in Pennsylvania.

Jindal should drop out, losing his R+11 state to a Democrat, its embarrassing.

I seriously think Jindal is a strong part of what's pulling Vitter down, besides Vitter himself.
