Good luck, Phil.  This will be the greatest election we've probably seen in awhile.

There's actually no one running from the true left. Peter's a moderate leftist, not a liberal.

That is an awful banner, Phil.  Who the hell made that pile of crap?  Dick Lugar must be spinning in his grave.

Very funny, Joe. By the way, Lugar is still alive.

The Primary vote was open to all registered ACA members and I hope to have your support in the General (if I get there).

Alright, alright. He was alive when I saw him on CNN's Late Edition this afternoon.

Keystone Phil approaches a podium set up at his Northeast Philadelphia residence. There is a group of supporters standing behind him as he begins to address the members of the media.

Good evening. I promise not to keep anyone too late. It's been an interesting weekend and a weekend that concludes with a victory for our campaign. However, our fight is not over. We must carry on to the convention where I know we will be victorious.

Right now I'd like to take a moment to thank all those who supported me with their vote. Your efforts to make me the nominee of our great party are greatly appreciated. To those that didn't support me, I would like to ask that you consider standing with my candidacy at our convention. We need to build a united front so that when June comes around, we will be ready to present ourselves to the Atlasian electorate as the best choice.

We have a busy week ahead of us. It is my hope that after this week, our hard work will pay off. Now everyone make sure to get some rest. I'll see you down in Tampa.

Keystone Phil steps away from the podium, shaking a few hands, as cameras flash.

Do you think your primary victory a bit diminished by the fact you only got 50% of the overall vote (7 of 14) in the party you chair?

I think Akno's point was that he felt that, as the chairman of the party, Phil should have gotten more than 50% of the vote.

It does show how disunited the conservatives (small "c") are and it doesn't bode well for conservative candidates.

If the ACA is Phil's base, which I'm pretty sure it is, and in Atlasia where no one votes based on party nominations, getting the support of only half the ACA will have you out of the election in a very early round.

We had another ACA candidate in the race, too, Akno. I am not down at all. I don't feel my victory is diminished. I know you would like that, Akno, but it's not the case. We'll see how the convention goes.
