Would Jesus approve of tactical voting?

Such as voting in the other party's primary/caucus to try to get them to nominate a weak candidate.

I hear the first thing he did after rising from the dead in the spring of 37 was a tactical vote so Caligula would have a weak opponent in the general. Most likely.

It's nice that you're trying to better yourself, but perhaps this is a better question for your clergy?....but really, the answer should be fairly obvious.  On the other hand, if you're into shaping Jesus into whatever you want Him to be, that's fine too, you'd be just like most religious people.  It's even ok if you don't (can't) see it that way, again, just like most religious people.

Most of my clergy have no formal theological education. The lead pastor has a degree in Accounting buy nothing from a seminary.

But they'd probably just say something like "Do whatever furthers the progressive agenda that Jesus stands for."

All of my pastors are Conservative, very much so.  But none of them have told me how to vote.
