OK, but not awesome by any means for Hillary, given that Obama won all of those states in 2012, except North Carolina.

True, but on the other hand Obama beat Romney by 10 EVs in the remaining states so Trump probably does need to win among these states to have any kind of shot.

Maybe it's an attempt to economize.  They'd have to poll a much larger number of voters to keep the margin of error in each state to a reasonable number.  But yeah, this doesn't tell us anything about the race in individual states, which is really all that matters.

Hate that they poll for Someone Else besides Johnson and Stein. Come on, I doubt 2% are planning to write in Bernie or vote for Darrell Castle.
