Will we get a look at our government's agenda at some point, or is our new Prime Minister too busy trampling the dignity of his new office by initiating a red scare and crying "Atlasia so communist!!1!1!1"?

My dear comrade, this government has no intention of rushing half-finished legislation to the floor just to satisfy some cult of action.

However, the Prime Minister has permitted me to note the two highest priorities of this first government -

1. To establish and clarify the fundamental structures of the nation. The Cabinet is hard at work on this very matter as we speak, with the first priority being the publication of a comprehensive Government act that will clarify the constitutional situation in the coming days.

2. To establish a functioning foreign policy and win diplomatic recognition from the socialist hellscape that is our Northern neighbour.

I can't speak for other departments, but I'll be putting out an overview of the finance ministry's agenda for this parliament later today.

I can confirm that I will be posting an agenda list for the Lands Ministry this weekend. I would be pleased to answer any questions in the meantime.

No one asked for ready set legislation, my dear Mr. Oakvale, but it is custom in a number of functioning democracies for the government upon inauguration to deliver a rough, basic outlook on the ideas it will push forward and style its legislation after. This is what I asked for, and I admit that I am pleased by the answers of you, and your fellow ministers, thank you rightly for your attention.

It seems only the honourable Prime Minister is indeed to busy undertaking the above depicted for giving a response himself to a lowly citizen.

Bear in mind that we are the first government ever to take office in this nation; a new nation at that. Naturally it will take time to develop a coherent agenda, given the volume of work that needs to be done.

My priority at this time is drafting legislation to clarify the organization of our armed forces, as well as establishing relations with our northern neighbor.

But didn't you make at least a draft of an agenda for the coalition negotiations?

Our agenda has been clear from the beginning. Establishing the solid foundation for our country and avoiding the pitfalls that come easy early on in our existence is what we ran and won on. That's what we intend to.

And in what ways are you intending to that? That is what interests me (and a number of fellow citizens, I'd wager), not just empty buzzwords.

It would be helpful if the President would be willing to give a Speech from the Throne.

The Ministry of Infrastructure will be putting forth legislation to allow for the conduct of a study on the state of arterial routes and the harmonization of transport and utility networks.

As Minister for social protection I echo the words of my cabinet colleagues and my trusted advisor Cassius. I'm currently working on a comprehensive review of this rather broad department, and in turn releasing policy proposals on health, education and other areas.

As other's have said we're having to battle the three demons of starting a government, running as a coalition and keeping collective responsibility together. We need to make sure that all our proposals are funded, put towards the Cabinet and discussed-not Atlasian style of just throwing policies into the Senate

I would like to point out that, in the decree appointing the PM, I specifically instructed him to seek parliamentary confidence on some kind of agenda:

Office of the President of South America

Mr. Potus, leader of the Conservative Party, has successfully reported from his exploratory mission that a mutual coalition agreement has been found between the Conservatives and the Social Liberals. As a result, I am appointing Mr. Potus as Prime Minister and instructing him to form a cabinet and seek the confidence of the new Parliament, on the basis of the coalition agreement, at his earliest convenience.

I wish him and his new government the best of luck as they form the first permanent government of our new Republic.

Hashemite
Interim President of South America

As I understand, that has yet to be done.

Not commenting on politics, but the rules are established now to easily allow for the Parliament to make such an expression.

Sorry for the intrusion, but the Prime Minister of South America is wrong on this:

Mr. Speaker, I must insist that this foreign agitator be removed from the house.

Seeing as we are not acutally inside of Parliament here, I have no authority on the matter. If Speaker Cris would like to visit our Parliament, I would ask him to go through the usual channels.
