The purpose of this thread is to monitor the implosion of Walker's campaign. It would be better to put all of this stuff on one thread, no? Anyway, you all know at this point that Walker just can't cut it, right?  So let me start off with this little rumor - that Walker's fund raiser met with Trump with a view to joining his campaign, and dumping Walker. So many of these interesting meetings lately - Biden meets with Warren (rumor has it to offer her the VP slot), and now this one. Presumably these boys are able to keep secret such meetings, and the fact they are not secret, suggests someone didn't want them to be secret, but I digress.

Yes, he doesn't seem ready for primetime. But neither does Jeb, really. Only Rubio and Kasich have any pulse or a sliver of a working brain.

But yes, of the four 'establishment' candidates, Walker seems most likely to crash and burn, especially if he cannot recover in Iowa. The Trump rise really did him in. He was trying to capture the conservative/straight-talking voters, and then The Donald swoops in with his real talk and fire in his belly. Poor Walker can't hold a candle and can only repeat time and time again, "But the unions!" That alone does not amount to a campaign.

He is boring, knows little about foreign policy, and doesn't say much outside of the main talking points.

I was selling his stock back before he announced and I don't think he will be able to rebound in this field.
