Lol Trump wins when Deez Nuts is on the ticket. Makes sense more Dems would vote for Deez Nuts, being the Gay Party and all.

Maybe Trump should fund liberal spoiler candidates to mess w Clinton.

I could actually see Trump doing that, and getting away with it.

Yeah. Is that kind of like Drew P. Ball or Ben Dover? Tongue Grin

Seriously, I think this speaks to polling right at the moment, assuming it's legit at all. Hey, Hillary is supposedly losing PA to Jeb, or tied, or about to lose, or something!

More shockingly, however, is how well Nuts, who is running as an independent, is faring in the key state of North Carolina, where, according a to a Public Policy Polling poll, the mysterious figure got the support of 9% of likely voters.
Q31 Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion
of Deez Nuts?
Favorable........................................................ 6%
Unfavorable .................................................... 13%
Not sure .......................................................... 81%

Q32 If the candidates for President next year were
Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald
Trump, and independent Deez Nuts who would
you vote for?
Hillary Clinton.................................................. 38%
Donald Trump ................................................. 40%
Deez Nuts ....................................................... 9%
Not sure .......................................................... 12%

Nutz gets 9% of the vote, even though only 6% have a favorable opinion.

Some cross-tabs.

2012 Vote Deez Nuts Favorability

All: 6% Favorable, 13% Unfavorable, Not Sure 81%
Barack Obama: 8% Favorable, 18% Unfavorable, Not Sure 74%
Mitt Romney: 2% Favorable, 9% Unfavorable, Not Sure 89%
Someone else /Don't remember: 11% Favorable, 13% Unfavorable, Not Sure 76%

Obama voters apparently follow politics more closely, and are almost 2-1/2 times as likely as Romney voters to have formed and articulated an opinion on Mr. Nuts.

Mr. Nuts gets much of his support from those who can't remember who they voter for in 2012 or someone else than Romney or Obama.  Among Obama voters, most of the support for Nuts comes from Clinton voters (ie they would not vote for a Republican, but don't like Clinton).  Among Romney voters, most of the support for Nuts comes from Trump voters (ie they would not vote for a Democrat, but don't like Trump).

Ideology
All: 6% Favorable, 13% Unfavorable, Not Sure 81%
Very liberal: 5% Favorable, 19% Unfavorable, Not Sure 76%
Somewhat liberal: 4% Favorable, 14% Unfavorable, Not Sure 83%
Moderate: 10% Favorable, 16% Unfavorable, Not Sure 75%
Somewhat conservative: 3% Favorable, 11% Unfavorable, Not Sure 86%
Very conservative: 4% Favorable, 9% Unfavorable, Not Sure 86%

Moderates are much more likely to like Nuts.  Nuts are a good source of protein, but only in moderation since they have lots of calories. Conservatives are reluctant to express an opinion about someone they have never heard about.

17% of moderates would vote for Nuts in a 3-way race with Clinton and Trump.

36% of blacks have an opinion of Nuts, vs 15% of whites.  In a three-way race among blacks, 17% would favor Nuts, 10% Trump, and 61% Clinton.

51% of those 18-29 have an opinion about Nuts, vs only 6% if those over 65.

57% of internet interviewees have an opinion of Nuts vs. 9% of phone interviewees.  It is illegal for pollsters to automatically poll mobile phone users (they can if they have live interviewers, but that is expensive).  PPP tries to get around this problem by using internet surveys which are supposedly demographically matched.

If you poll Democrat, Republican, and third option, regardless of what the third option is, it will get at least 5% of the vote.

Funny poll but also obviously garbage. It doesn't even tell you anything about current voter dissatisfaction, it just confirms that a certain percentage of the population will always be contrarian.
