I'm an atheist.

I don't personify anything, but I am in genuine awe of the sun and feel if anything, 'reverence' of the sun should be more commonplace not less the more we understand it.

Similarly I am amazed at bacteria and the synergy between bacteria and other living things including ourselves.

I'm a Mormon, with shades of secular humanism (and not so "secular" humanism).

Same (currently), but on account of my interpretation of 'most' I actually just voted Catholic.

Christian - Fundamentalist

The Baptist denomination is the one my views fit in best with, and I would like to attend an Independent Baptist church in the future; so, if I have to pick a denomination to identify with, I would identify as a Baptist.

I went with:
Christian-Baptist, as that's how I was raised (southern flavor of Baptists), I don't practice, but I'd be fool to think it hasn't played a part in making me the person I am today.

Agnostic, atheist, secular humanist, Unitarian Universalist. Really all the same thing to me.
And that is part of the reason I go to the UU church I do out of the two that are within a reasonable distance. The other had many there who think as you do.

I put down Congregationalist, UU, Confucian, Taoist, and Other. Other standing in for other schools of East Asian thought. For all of those East Asian schools, I ignore any accretions from either folk religion, shamanism, or Buddhism. Not that one can totally ignore Buddhism when dealing with East Asian thought, as Buddhist terminology is much used in later schools of thought, but the conclusions drawn in South Asian thought I reject. Also, it's not that I'm ignoring Western philosophy, but to the extent I make use of it, it's already part of Congregationalism and UU or is paralleled in East Asian thought.

Oh, I didn't mean to say UU was a form of atheism. I just meant all those things fit within the idea of "I don't (necessarily) believe in God, I do believe in decency."

I had been a UU for over 20 years. Although I still find a little good in the religion, I have become increasingly turned off by all the negative politics. It is also to much into the all you need is love mantra. I would prefer a more atheistic or humanistic or whatever you want to call it and zero politics religon. I don't think that nonChristians should feel any need to celebrate Christmas or anything else for that matter. Even though many UUs are humanists or atheists there is still to much traditional religion. If you don't agree with the political UU party line, how can you feel comfortable being UU? The whole idea of pluralism is much more difficult and much more complex than some people realize. People that talk about pluralism tend to be very liberal and have difficulty fully accepting moderates and conservatives.

None of the above is more to the point and that's where I am. I am perfectly able to think for myself and I don't need anyone else telling me what to believe or how to vote.

UU has a congregational organization Quadist, so a lot depends on the congregation. If you don't like the one you go to then try another. The one I go to is mostly apolitical which you would like, but it also has a heavy dose of spirituality, not exclusively of one religion, tho admittedly we have more Christians than is typical for a UU congregation these days.

Quadist and myself already explained our "other" votes. For him, existentialism, and for me, other East Asian schools concerning the Mandate of Heaven.

Oldies is an Adventist. BRTD might have decided his emergent church is "other"? No idea about the others.

Adventist is one of the options.

Existentialism would fit into Nontheistic Philosophies

Agnostic, Secular Humanist. I regard religion as having a decidedly negative impact on society, so whatever that is - anti-theist or anti-religionist.
