They didn't include any general election matchups, but they did test the favorability of some of the Republican candidates among all registered voters (not just Republicans):

Fiorina 29/20% for +9%
Kasich 25/22% for +3%
Walker 25/32% for -7%
Trump 38/58% for -20%
Bush 35/57% for -22%

Among Republicans only:

Trump 69/28% for +41%
Fiorina 46/10% for +36%
Walker 47/14% for +33%
Kasich 36/14% for +22%
Bush 49/42% for +7%

So yes, Trump has a better favorability ratio than Bush.  Not just among Republicans, but among all registered voters.

The sad thing is that this is actually a really good poll for Bush.  He's at least in second.  Fox has him in 4th.

Among Republican voters, Trump is the leading candidate picked in all of the "Who would do the best job on Issue X?" questions.  His lead over second place Bush on all of these issues:

the economy: Trump +36 over Bush
immigration: Trump +31 over Bush
ISIS: Trump +16 over Bush
social issues, such as abortion and same sex marriage: Trump +4 over Bush

I believe Pataki, Gilmore and Everson weren't mentioned in the poll.

So, are we still saying Trump is a flash in the pan/flavor of the month? He's been in the lead for close to two months now.

The Republican Party is following the example of the Labour Party. Enough empty suits! Let's get someone completely nuts to ruin our party's reputation even more!

Yes! I've been saying this, too! All of 2012's flavors of the month were… flavors of the month, lasting for about a month on top. Trump is here to stay.

I'm a little surprised that Bush still hasn't fallen out of second yet.

This looks more like a pre-debate poll than a post-debate poll. Bush, Walker, Paul, and Rubio are up. Cruz and Carson down (relative to other post-debate polls)
