Well it's time to engage in thread necromancy, and reanimate this comatose oldie but goodie. A source (yes, yes, I know, a right wing source), has up a Hillary email thread, that raises the issue of whether Hillary telling her aide to cleanse a thread of identifying markings so it can be sent to her via her insecure email, is evidence of intent, one of the elements of one of the criminal statutes in play here.  It will be interesting to see how this one plays out. I suppose we still need to know how sensitive the material involved was.

The FBI investigation is still going on. And it sounds like they will look into connections between favors Hillary granted as Secretary of State and money those people gave to the Clinton Foundation. Not very good if you want Hillary to be our next President.

It's because we have been seeing the exact same stories in a drip, drip, drip fashion. It's supposed to build the sense that something is going to happen, but I think we all know nothing will.

State Dept. seeking an extension on deadline for Clinton email release from January 29th to February 29th.

"The department said in a federal court filing that it needed until Feb. 29 after realizing this week that it had "overlooked" an unspecified number of emails it should have already shared with other agencies for them to review for sensitive information."

Why would the RNC sue now? 

If one of the big problems with the email scandal is that it seems political, why wouldn't the RNC wait until it looked for sure like she wouldn't get in any trouble from the feds?  Why stick their nose in it now just so HRC can say that all these problems are coming from the Republican National Committee?

The FBI has completed its examination of Clinton's server and will be interviewing her, as well as other aides, in the next few days. There will be a decision soon after that. Looks like this whole thing is finally coming to a close very soon.
