He should take out a loan. Leaving your staff to fend for themselves is disgraceful.

got damn this is not good. Poor Perry. Dude should have ran for Congress like Sanford.

No open seats for him. If he "went home" and ran in his hometown, he'd be in Randy Neugebauer's district, and that man makes Perry look like a Rockefeller Republican. Austin has Mike McCaul, Roger Williams and Lamar Smith in the safe GOP districts: Williams has tons of personal wealth, Smith has seniority and clout, and McCaul has both.

You could make a compelling case for him to run against Ted Cruz in 2018, but having yet another failed presidential bid weakens him in that regard.

He should take out a lone. Leaving your staff to fend for themselves is disgraceful.

Those lazy mooching staff think they're entitled to be paid for their work? What socialist nonsense! If they want money, they need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get out there and make some money, instead of waiting for job creators like Rick Perry to just hand it to them.

Perry might as well drop out and endorse Cruz, Walker, or Paul.

If he's gonna endorse someone, I think Bush and Rubio are closer to be his final choice. Cruz is just way too extreme, even for Perry, and especially on immigration. Remember that according to Perry, people like Cruz and Trump "don't have a heart". Smiley

Cruz is untouchable.

The Establishment hates him, and the Establishment still counts for something - as Thad Cochran will tell you. There are plenty of Republicans in this state who are hardcore conservatives but aren't psychotic enough to go around breaking china and gumming up the works the way Cruz has. The national and state party has had it with Cruz, as has the Chamber of Commerce and everyone else who counts.

There is a 0% chance Perry endorses a Bush… he is last on the list of 16 possibilities.

You don't think Perry would endorse Trump, do you?

Well, he may be #15. But the Bush family and Perry hate one another, so it's not like he will endorse him if he drops out. If he endorses anyone in the coming months, it will certainly not be Jeb.

Think he is planning to drop out? The debate was his chance - he had two bad performances last week, and despite trying to be the main voice against Trump, has not received any traction and has been jumped by Kasich AND Fiorina.

If he has stopped paying all staff, there is no way that he's staying in the race.

He could go the Lincoln Chafee route, and only do campaign events within driving distance of his house.  Otherwise, I'm not sure how long the campaign can continue like this.

Rick Perry absolutely despises Cruz. Cruz only became Senator by defying the Perry Machine and beating Dewhurst in a vicious primary.

Perry could well endorse Walker.

I wonder if they could transfer staff to his super PAC like Santorum did.  Or are they out of money too?

Let's hope he endorses Jindal who then drops out the next day. Can't wait for the Trump tweet on this.
