45/42. In a 3-way matchup Conway leads 43/38/8.

So Curtis takes more from Bevin than Conway?  Interesting.

Bevin still has an intraparty problem. Downballot numbers will be out tomorrow.

You know it's bad for him when he's only leading by 3 in a SUSA poll.

An entire summer of the media heaping praise upon Bevin, and Conway still leads by 3 to 5?

Agreed w/TNV. Plus positive movement for Bevin after being down 48/37 a few months ago.

I'm inclined to agree with RogueBeaver and TNv, I'd like to see more reliable polls to back this up.

The big question is: If Drew Curtis is "left-leaning" as some of the articles say, why is he drawing more votes from Bevin? Are these the votes of pseudohipsters who think that Republicans are the ones "fighting the man" when an independent isn't running?

One thing for sure, this is same Bevin that voters rejected in primary against McConnell.

I give no candidate the edge, but the GOP needs to have wider leads in a state like KY.

Agreed, we need more polls. SUSA has been bad at polling Kentucky in the past, but you know what they say about polling trends...

Also have Dems leading all row offices except AgComm. I can't credit a poll which shows a Republican taking 35% (!!!) of the black vote.

I believed all along that the Democrats would win each of these offices except that one. Agriculture Commish always goes Republican. Always. On the other hand, the GOP is leading that race by only 1%.

Pepole don't vote for 3rd parties based on their views but on name recognition and frustration with their own party - the GOP had the tough primary.

Recall in Maine when many Cutler voters actually put LePage 2nd somehow.

Not necessarily; Conway has held leads in polls, Bevin has also lead in poll. There is no way Bevin or Conway will win by more than five.

According to this poll, Conway's support of gay marriage doesn't hurt him one bit...
