I would like to thank all members who contested the election, and I am very happy with the participation in our conference.

With that being said, we have concluded our last item of business, and I believe we are in a very strong position to contest the next general election whenever that may be.  As laid out in the Constitution, the Party Executive is charged with managing the party's election campaign and we will get to work on that front as soon as possible.

I declare the Conference adjourned!

The dissolution of Parliament is scheduled to occur this Thursday evening, meaning that a general election is in the air.

Will you join the Social Liberals to preserve the unity of this country, to keep the Tories and the Socialists honest, and to have a government that works for all people and for the progress of all of South America?

To do this, the only way to vote is for the Social Liberals!

Per our party constitution, elections for the positions of Chairman and the elected members of the Party Executive are now upon us.

Since we are also entering the election campaign, I think it would behoove our party to concentrate our resources there, so hopefully this process can happen quickly.

Party Chairman
Nominations require a mover and a seconder and will be open for 24 hours.

I nominate myself for a second term.

Party Executive
Members have 24 hours to declare their candidacy.  All incumbent members of the Executive are eligible for another term.

Party Chairman

As the only member nominated and seconded, Barnes is declared elected as Party Chairman.

Executive

As exactly three candidates contested the three positions, Blair, Vega, and BaconBacon96 are declared elected to the Party Executive.

Congratulations!

Since Deputy Leader SJoyce has unfortunately departed from our nation and has not been able to attend parliament this session, I motion for a vote to remove his mandate in this parliament.
