For the location/backstory, how about a unified Europe? GB&I, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Southern Europe could be multi-winner districts.

I'd be open to whatever, but that's another interesting idea. It would also allow us to cooperate with a revitalized Atlasia across the Atlantic, if we choose to go the route of inter-game diplomacy.

I think it's best if we keep it US-based. That's what the majority of us are familiar with and probably most comfortable with, I'd wager.

Agreed, but it's an interesting idea to have it European based.

I like a European idea. It's not North America, so it's different than Atlasia, but we're more familiar with it than South America.

I have a last minute alternative-post Apartheid South Africa, with Zimbabwe, Botswana, Mozambique, and Zambia included if possible.

I like that.

I also like:

-Democratic China (or NK, or Cuba).

-Australia

-Independent Scotland (forgot who proposed this first...)

Not to mention South America, post-Soviet Russia, and obviously Europe (which I wrote a write-up for on page 3 of this thread).

And, if you're high at the moment:

-Moon/Mars/Alpha Centauri/Generic Space Colony.

If anything, this should be a control of sorts to make the other options seem less crazy.
