As I see it, there are only five possibilities right now: Bush, Rubio, Christie, Kasich and Paul.

I still have faith in Kasich, theoretically he is a great candidate and his announcement should give him a boost in the polls if he handles it well. But I voted for him more because I hope he will win, so I actually should have voted for Jeb now I think about it.

Yeah, Bush or Rubio. I voted Bush. Walker's chances seem to have diminished recently.

Who is voting Kasich? He probably won't even attend the debates, lol.

I want Kasich to win, and he's in the top five most likely.

My odds:

Bush 60% (Largely based on the idea that the divide and conquer strategy will prevail, and conservatives will remain split until it is too late to effectively stop Bush)

Walker 20% (Seems like the most likely conservative alternative who can effectively challenge Bush. His advantage in Iowa also helps here)

Cruz 10% (Second most likely to win Iowa after Walker, and sharp enough to effectively oppose Bush)

Jindal 5% (Laugh now, but I would not be surprised if he ends up being the Santorum of this cycle)

Field 5%

50% Jeb Bush
50% Ted Cruz.

All I think of when I see the name Cruz is filibuster, gridlock, shutdown, eggs and ham. Doesn't seem all that sharp to me.

At least he doesn't want the GOP to be the Stupid Party. Yet he's extremely stupid himself LOL. Which his approval rating in Louisiana clearly demonstrates. Unless he considers it a virtue to be hated, just like Walker and Cruz.

Left-wing Swedes aren't exactly the GOP's target demographic, so I don't think that would worry them.

It should worry them in a general for sure. Wink Especially the eggs and ham part.
