Romney won KS white women 54-43 according to CNN, a closer margin than by McCain in 2008, however he won white men by an astonishing 74-24, with Obama getting less than Clinton 1992 when he came in third with this demographic. Any reason for this?

Usually the men and women of the plain states vote GOP by rather similar margins. In KS, Obama did better than he did in 2008 with women but lost men by more than 1992.
