More timing of upcoming contests…

Thursday, March 10:

Virgin Islands Republican caucuses: 12-6pm local time, which means 11am-5pm ET: https://www.facebook.com/VIRepublicanParty/posts/1055262691180083

Saturday, March 12:

Washington, DC Republican convention: 10am-4pm ET:
http://dcgop.com/dc-state-convention/

Guam Republican convention and Northern Mariana Islands Democratic caucuses: No idea on either of these.  Anyone else want to help track down the info?  All I know is, theses islands are so far ahead in time zones (like Australia) that results may well come as early as Friday night US time.

I've added to the calendar the later stages of delegate selection for CO, ND, and WY on the Republican side.

The CNMI Democratic caucuses start at 6PM on March 12 local time.  That's 3AM March 12 Eastern Time, I think.
http://www.mvariety.com/community-bulletin-sp-595/84246-nmi-democrats-announce-delegate-selection-plan-locations-for-march-12-caucus

But you should probably check my time zone math.  If you can't find a CNMI-specific time zone, the CNMI is in the same time zone as Guam.

I can't find any info on the time of the Guam Republican convention.  According to KUAM-TV, it will be held at the Dusit Thani Resort Guam.  Guam NBC affiliate KUAM.com or Guam's Gannett newspaper, guampdn.com might have more info this week.

As a followup to this, the Wyoming County Conventions, which'll select some of the national convention delegates, will be held next Saturday, with varying times across the state.  Here's a list of the times:

http://wyoming.gop/county-conventions/

Starting times range all the way from 8am to 6pm local time, which is 10am to 8pm Eastern time.

If there is a contested convention that block of delegates (Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota) will be another wild card in the process.
Fun times.

According to the CNMI Republicans Facebook page, the CNMI Republican caucuses run from 6:00PM to 8:30PM local time, with voting starting at 6:30, at least on Saipan.  The caucus times and sites on Tinian and Rota are TBD, but are expected to be open around the same time.  That's 4:00AM-6:30AM Eastern (one hour ahead of the CNMI Dems time zone calculation due to DST).

We finally got some info on the Guam Republican Convention today.  It starts at 9AM local time Saturday, which is 6PM Eastern time Friday.

The Guam GOP said that the convention will start at 10AM local time on their Facebook page, not 9AM as reported in the Pacific Daily News.  That would be 7PM Eastern.

Either way, we're probably not going to get results until late Friday or early Saturday.

Thanks for helping me with the starting times cinyc.  Should also note that, as was pointed out by Wulfric in another thread, it looks like the DC voting on Saturday has been extended to 9pm, but only for Orthodox Jews:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2016/03/07/d-c-republicans-extend-primary-hours-so-that-orthodox-jews-can-vote-on-saturday/

The Northern Mariana Republican Party put up this post a few days ago, clarifying the caucus procedure:

https://www.facebook.com/gopcnmi/posts/1695760827307960

Looks like the voting time is slightly different from what I'd previously listed.  While people can start checking in at 6pm, voting doesn't start until 6:30pm, and then ends at 8pm.  That's 4:30am-6am US Eastern time.  I've updated the OP to reflect this change.

Nice, I like how all 5 states are compacted in this same hour. I imagine that they will be able to make a call on both sides in FL when all the polls close at 8pm (At least on the Democratic side).

I noticed that, too.  This Tuesday will be a lot easier on the bed time than last Tuesday when we had to wait forever for Idaho and Hawaii.

True, but they're not as rough as waiting around for Hawaii and Alaska...

The Utah GOP's website says online voting will be open until 11PM Mountain Time, or 1AM Eastern.   We're still looking at a very late night, even on the West Coast.

I can't find any information on the time of the American Samoa convention yet.

Hopefully it's only for the GOP and not Dems as well.

I have a gut feeling we are going to be seeing a lot of the network's B-teams with closing times like that.

The online schedule lists CNN's TV coverage of Rocky Mountain Tuesday as lasting from 6pm to 2am (!):

http://www.locatetv.com/listings/cnn-hd#22-Mar-2016

What's with the overkill on this?  There's no reason to start coverage at 6pm, when there won't be any results (except American Samoa) to talk about for hours.
