It is widely reported on social media that former Michigan senator Don Riegle will endorse Bernie Sanders.
Interesting tidbit: since his retirement from the senate in 1994 Riegle has worked as a corporate lobbyist.

Yeah, he already endorsed him.

Nope. I have an argument that he'd be with either Cruz, Paul (if he were still in), or Rubio.

Look at who his niece Alveda is supporting. Some one who is consistently pro-life, traditional marriage, and for religious liberty.

Remember MLK only supported JFK because Nixon was just a flat out jerk.

Are we back on this "MLK was a Republican" bulls**t?

It's not bull Kal.

You should really check more sources instead of whatever garbage you're filling your head with.

It's JCL Kal. He knows.

(And totally ignores the fact he stated multiple times verbally and in writing that he favored democratic socialism).

I know it's largely helpless, but I'd still would like to see him trying to back it up.

I'm just asking you to look at Alveda and what she has said of her uncle.

<sigh> OK, against my better judgment I'll bite . Link ?

Bernie Sanders campaigns against political corruption while parading the endorsement of a man implicated in one of the capital's largest corruption scandals.

At least he's smart enough to just pretend Grayson doesn't exist.

Even though the Democratic caucus in WA is not until March 26th and the GOP Primary is not until May, Seattle Times endorses Sanders and Kasich:

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch also endorsed Clinton. They went for Obama in 2008.

I don't think that the other major paper in Missouri, the Kansas City Star, does presidential endorsements, but I might be wrong.

This should confirm the theory that Arnie is not from Austria but in fact the future, and was sent back in time to save the world from President Trump

My question is: why did he endorse him?

To be fair, his opponent was a random truck driver

Amy Lindsay, the soft core porn star in the pulled Cruz ads, is backing Donald Trump.  Apparently, she filmed 6 Cruz ads, not just the one that was released on YouTube and then pulled.

Ted Cruz gets major endorsement from MS Governor Phil Bryant who also went on Hannity with the senator. My relatives from there say this will help him. He won with about 67% of the vote in 2014. Is this a major victory for Cruz and will it affect the primary?

It's a good get for Cruz, but local officials in the suburbs, many of the same ones who endorsed Romney over Santorum and Gingrich 4 years ago, are lining up for Trump. I expect Trump to break 50% tomorrow.

Endorsements don't help all that much. It may give Cruz a slight bump, but that's it.
