Probably.  Each side has it's own interest groups and the military is not a large factor in American politics.

Probably.  Each side has it's own interest groups and the military is not a large factor in American politics.

But, the military votes something like 2/3 Republican - they're an 'interest bloc' that favors one party, much the way businessmen favor Republicans and teachers favor Democrats. Their votes were more critical in 2000, however.
