The Republicans snap their fingers, become socially/fiscally/culturally/insert whatever the Republicans are perceived as being too far right on moderate, magically win back all Suburban voters, become the party that Rockefeller always wanted, and stuff happens because all it takes to win suburban voters is saying "guys we're socially moderate now alright."

I notice that no one, including this thread's OP, ever writes about how the Republican Party is trending toward consistently winning the female vote nationwide.
