I was talking about him in the 1896 thread and I thought of these three ideas:
1. Let's say he wins in 1888 narrowly over Harrison. How could he have done it and how would his second term went?
2. He doesn't run in 1892. Let's say the bug just doesn't hit him again in 1892 like it did in RL and he decides to stay in the private sector as Harrison and Weaver take on someone else. Who would it be and would Harrison pull it out?
3. Let's say he runs again in 1896 but isn't as toxic due to the economy and the pullman strike. How could he have done against McKinley and Bryan?
