Are there any estimates what times the results will be announced?

I might sound terrible for this, but could it be that the murder of MP Jo Cox might have had swayed people to support Remain? Because the polls after her murder show support for Brexit dropping and Remain rising.

Yes. It seems fairly likely that this is the case. I imagine it's not so much people switching their opinions, but "soft" remain supporters becoming more vocal and likely to vote.

This is my optimistic prediction:

Remain - 53%
Leave - 47%

Do Brits love to cry voter fraud/election fraud as much as Americans when they don't get their way? I remember there was that picture of the "leave" ballot on the "stay" pile after the Scottish referendum that went viral.

So apparently the weather's not all that good in Britain today, which might depress turnout. I suppose that's more likely to help the "leave" side?

There are reports that the Tube is very crowded and there are a lot of issues with delays - maybe putting a dent in London turnout.

Clackmannanshire votes to remain - no surprise.

So what do people have as the probability of each result? It seems pretty close to 50-50 right now.

Remain back ahead! Is this my last moment of hope in the fight for multiculturalism?

So, suppose it's five years down the road and the EU has "made an example" so-to-speak of the UK. The British economy is in disarray, and there's a huge sense of regret. This isn't like a normal election where you can just throw one side out. How easy would this be to undo?

One of the things that concerns me most about this is that, if things don't get dramatically better, who or what becomes the Eurosceptic punching bag? Leftists? Minorities?

The thing that really gets me is the dishonesty and fear mongering over Northern Ireland. There is absolutely not going to be border checkpoints set up. Absolutely no way. The most likely thing to happen is  there will be a passport required to travel between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.

I don't get it. What was the point of leaving the EU if not to impose ridiculous border restrictions? Smiley
