With Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton both front-runners for their respective primaries, the chance that American voters will be faced with the choice of two dynasties, each with significant personal and political baggage in 2016, I'd say is relatively high.

While I haven't found any polls to substantiate this: I believe there are a significant number of Americans who, if given a credible third choice, would choose to eschew the two familiar choices in favor of a fresh option.  But in order to capitalize on voters' preexisting distaste with the Clinton and Bush name, the next big dilemma is, how can one create a credible third party or platform by which an alternate candidate could successfully run on?  And garner the resources necessary to compete politically in post-Citizens United America?

I'm curious as to how this could work.  And if its even possible.  What would a credible third party look like in this political environment?

Jeb Bush isn't the frontrunner.

As long as our electoral system disenfranchises third parties, there will not be a viable third option. Electoral reform is desperately needed, but good luck getting the major parties to write their own death sentence.

Democratic voters like Hillary. They won't be voting third party in any significant number. The same is probably going to be true for whoever the Republicans nominate.

There's no evidence whatsoever that the public is tired of "the Clinton name."

A lot of people want a third party, but nobody can really agree on what third party they want.
