Leftish Mormons who take their religion seriously (not Jack Mormons) are quite interesting to me. And the chap is civil and polite and informative. I am most pleased he is a part of our community.

Marokai is level headed and fair, has the courage to go against the flow and fads, smart and informed, and one with whom one can disagree, without anything getting disagreeable. I have been a big admirer of his since rocks cooled. And he's better than ever.

For one whose views tend to be quite far out of the forum mainstream, he does very well in getting along with folks and visa versa, which says a lot about his temperament and diplomatic skills, and it's all to the good. A few other posters could benefit by his example actually.

What you said about the previous poster. Give your input and opinions, while avoiding attacking other posters as evil or idiots. You hew to that metric because it is who you are. You don't have to struggle to do it. It's just you, and for that you are blessed.

Knowledgeable, fair, polite, calm, whose posts typically display high content and effort,  all while minimizing dogmatism, thereby making him a member in good standing of a very exclusive cohort on Atlas. Other than that he is a mega HP.

He is perfecting the talent of laughing at himself. That is the only way to stay sane. Admit that one is an incorrigible sinner and flawed creature on this earth, and then forgive oneself. Most others out there are a mess too. I certainly am. It is all part of the journey from birth to dust.
