Two-Party or Multi-Party?

WMS:
This leaves aside issues such as the precise voting mechanism (although you can throw that in if you like) or the structure of Congress (ditto). Instead, on a fundamental level, which system would you prefer?

WMS:
And I picked multi-party, for the record. There are simply too many diverse substantial political viewpoints out there for two parties to contain them all. I could easily see 4 or 5 main parties and 2 or 3 minor parties with representation in other political systems, for example. And I want more choices, darn it! >:(

Frodo:
a multiparty democracy with proportional representation, with districts drawn primarily by courts, with legislators and the executive elected by any voting system other than the first-past-the-post we have now.

i'll elaborate later.....

I spent the winter writing songs about getting better:
Multi-party, with the parties basically like in East Timor, with a similar allotment of seats :)

A18:
Two party system: Republicans and Libertarians.
