I think they're awesome.  they have 575 editions.  they usually get a good compilation of essays by scholars who are intimately familiar with the topic.  they mostly focus on the humanities: literature, religion, theology, sociology...

and, not to encourage any unseemly behavior, but it is relatively easy to find high-quality pdf versions of many of these editions.
