Essentially, Daylight Savings Time is a relic of the 20th century which doesn't really have a place in modern Atlasia. It has limited to negative energy and health benefits, and switching clocks back and forward every few months does cost us in economic productivity. (Ftr, I am open to EDT [UTC-4] if the Assembly prefers that. The goal is the have time be conducted in one setting year round.)

It is still nice to have an extra hour of daylight each day.

Like I said, if the assembly prefers EDT to be permanent instead of EST, I have no issues. The goal's to just stop pointless clock switching.
