Knowing how this person voted in 1992, 2000, 2004 and 2008 would help a great deal.

Hmm, difficult. It can't be an antiwar leftist independent or they would have supported Clinton in 1992 and Nader in 2000. The 2008 Nader vote suggests they are open to left-wing politics, but the Bush and Romney votes suggests they are somewhere in the center. It also probably isn't a New Right paleo conservative given they would have probably voted for Barr or Baldwin instead of Nader.
