"I am deeply saddened by the loss of Walter Mondale. He stood out over his career in the public sector as a warrior of the working class and a defender of the American people. Teresa and I extend our deepest sympathies to the Mondale family."

A Lifetime of Service

For almost 30 years I served the people of Massachusetts in the United States Senate, chairing both the Foreign Relations and the Small Business Committees. I stood up for working class Americans with bills such as the Small Business Technology Transfer Program Renewal and an amendment to the Small Business Act to empower women in the workplace. I've dedicated my life to the American people, and now I believe it's time to take a new step in the journey. On [INSERT PRIMARY DAY HERE] cast your vote for me, John Kerry - a dedicated public servant who's ready to continue to fight for the American people.

Paid for by the committee to elect John Kerry President.

Excerpt from Kerry's appearance on Al Punto, in response to a question regarding the shift in U.S.-Cuban relations:  Changes have been made in Cuba over the last fifty years - real changes, changes for the good of the Cuban people. The Soviet Union no longer exists and it hasn't for nearly thirty years. There is no reason to continue to treat the people of Cuba - who are now three generations removed from the Cubans who aligned with the Soviet Union - as though there are Soviet missiles aimed at Miami. How can we expect the people of Cuba to grow, learn, and prosper if we cut them off from the outside world?

Excerpt from Kerry's address at the pot-luck at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist:  My faith has always been a major part of my life. Back in 2004, I carried a rosary, a prayer book, and a St. Christopher medal at all times. I never put those away. I still have my rosary and the St. Christopher medal in my pocket now, and my prayer book is back in the car.

Family Matters

John Kerry - Secretary of State, Senator, Lieutenant Governor, Veteran, Attorney. But more importantly, he's a husband, a father, and a grandfather.

No matter what he did in life, John Kerry has never forgot his roots and his family. His father, Richard, came from a middle-class family. John Kerry's grandfather was an immigrant from Austria who made shoes for a living. Richard instilled in John the importance of hard work, that he himself learned from his father.

2016, an important election for hard working, Middle Class Americans. Isn't it time to elect a President who knows what the Middle Class is about?

Paid for by the committee to elect John Kerry President.

Kerry Debate Responses

What will you do as president to combat ISIS and other terrorist groups? Do you agree with how the Obama administration has handled this issue? ISIS has largely been contained within the Middle East, thanks to President Obama's policies. He has done the best he can to combat ISIS and terrorism as a whole. America has been safer than ever under President Obama and I stand by the President in his efforts. That said, as President, I will lead America down a different path with respect to combating terrorism. Any action taken cannot be taken unilaterally. As we learned with the War in Iraq, any action must be taken with a strong, unified coalition.

In recent years, relations between the US and Israel have become more strained. What would you do to improve relations and also resolve the dispute between the Israelis and the Palestinians? I stand very strongly with our friends in Israel. President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu simply do not have a strong personal relationship. I believe that the Prime Minister and I are much closer than he and the President are. As for the issue of Palestine and Israel - if the Palestinians continue to resort to terror and extremism they will never have an independent state.

Voters overwhelmingly favor an increase in the minimum wage, and multiple states have taken action on this. Do you favor increasing the minimum wage, and if so, by how much? I have always supported raising the minimum wage to a livable wage. This is a position that has been approved by voters across the nation on many occasions. I support raising the minimum wage to $17 per hour for untipped workers, and $5.25 for tipped workers. It's time to let all Americans make a reasonable living.

Do you agree with President Obama's executive order last year on immigration? What is your plan to reform the country's immigration system? I believe, out of respect for the current administration, it would be rude for me to comment on the President's Executive Order. I will comment that his hand was forced by Congressional Republicans and their obstruction of any legitimate immigration reform. As President, I will work for a Middle-of-the-Road solution that strengthens our border, makes the citizenship process easier and more streamlined, and protects the children that were brought to this nation by their parents.

Out of all the other people on this stage, who would you most want to have in your Cabinet, and for what position? There are many qualified men and women on this stage who would capably serve in a Kerry administration. Admiral McRaven would be a likely, strong choice for either Secretary of Defense or Homeland Security.

To former Secretary Clinton: Mrs. Clinton, in your answer to the minimum wage question you said that you support raising the minimum wage and yet you fail to put a number on it. Your response about being the average of all state minimums doesn't make sense. If a bill to raise the minimum wage to $17 was sent to your desk, assuming you win both the primary and the general election, would you sign it?

Secretary Kerry where did you learn to do Math? If you combine the average of what all the states that have a minimum wage do, cut that in half, and chain it to increases in inflation, I guarantee that you will higher minimum wage then what the Federal minimum wage is now. As for your proposal, of course I would sign it, simply because we need a raise, plain and simple.

"Mrs. Clinton, let me quote Senator Ed Markey here: 'It's basic arithmetic'. Finding an average doesn't involve dividing the summation in half, it involves dividing it by the number of individual numbers added."

The hell?

I take it you never heard of the custom of dressing up for Halloween?

I know how Halloween works, I just find this way too unrealistic for a former American President to do.

Statement from the Kerry Campaign

"It is with heavy hearts that Secretary Kerry has announced that he will no longer be pursuing the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Citing dangers on the campaign trail and threats against his life, Secretary Kerry has decided it is best for him, his wife, and his family to cease his campaign at this point. However, he is not retiring for politics. He plans to continue on in the Obama Administration and is looking into a bid for Massachusetts Governor in 2018. He thanks those who supported him, especially the Kennedy family."
